The Marginal Benefit

It is always a daunting challenge to introduce yourself in front of others. When presented with this task, we undergo self-scrutiny to project a "desirable" image. Keeping in line with this tradition of our times, we would like to welcome you to our humble project.

This blog is an initiative by the students of the Department of Economics, Ramjas College, University of Delhi. As young minds, we would like to discuss, opine and critically engage in the events and happenings around us. While our textbooks do provide a theoretical basis to understand and explore the world, the reality doesn't seem to conform with the assumptions and simplifications of our models. This blog has been setup as a micro-level step towards bridging the gap between what we are taught and how can we use that to understand the world in more practical terms.

Each category of our blog aims to focus on certain aspects of our daily lives and try to present reality in jargon-free, easily comprehensible terms. From Pop Culture to International Affairs, we seek to put forth in a wide range of engaging pieces that explain the dynamic complexities of our surroundings. As time goes by, we aim to add more specific categories which would be in line with our blog's vision. 

 

Since the nature of an idea/argument is such that discussing and engaging with it leads to the enhancement of its quality, though this blog, we aim to create a platform where this takes place. If our pieces caught your eye, we would love to engage in a meaningful discussion with you!
